Creativity is out of this world!

Hidy Ho Stampers,

As you know I talk about my team all the time.  I am so proud of all they do and how creative they are.  Each month I hold a creative challenge for them.  September's Creative Challenge was "going back to school".  Here is what a few of them came up with…

Barb came up with the cutest apples made out of our punches and dies.

Her attention to detail is amazing!

Mandie's little girl went to school for the first time this year.

Her amazing scrapbook page was done in MDS.  So stinken cute!

These entries are all done anonymously so the voting is unconditional.

I'm not sure who did this one but I will find out and post later.

It's absolutely adorable.  It's for the new teacher.  This apple was done with our

circle punch!  Again so stinken cute. (I'll find out who did it

And can you stand it…this is done with our petal cone die and

she used the leaves die and the woodgrain die!

It's so stinken cute.  Again, I only know a number but I'll find out

who to give credit to.

And now the winner was…..are you ready…..here we go….

drum roll pleeeeeeeeeease….

OH MY GOSH…Jeannie you out did yourself.  Her attention to each and every

piece in this display is amazing.

It's a survival kit.

Each drawer opens!  Sooooo amazing.

Thank you again to my whole team for their particiapation in our monthly get togethers.  We learn and grow from each other (we also laugh lots and eat LOTS)!!!! Remember if you'd like to be a part of this AMAZING group, just go to my website www.stampladee.stampinup.net and click on JOIN THE FUN in the upper right corner!  It's is soooooooooo much fun.

Thank you for stopping by, have a super day.

It’s an Olympic Event

Hidy Ho Stampers,

My team meeting was last Sunday and we were totally into the Olympics.  We had three teams -

Team USA

Team America

Team United States

Each team had a table on the left and a table on the right.  Each team had a team captain.  When I blew the whistle, we let the GAMES BEGIN.  One person from each team had to go to a table in the middle of the room that was filled with stamps and accessories and stamp on a piece of white cardstock…when they were done, they had to go to their team on the other side and hand off the card.  One person from that table had to do the same and it went back and forth until everyone had a turn.  Each person was building on the card that their team mate handed off to them.  Well, I can tell you it was so fun and it was really amazing to see what they had come up with on these cards!

Here they are in the middle of the room hurrying to get their part done.

Here are their team mates cheering them on!

We even had GOLD, SILVER and BRONZE medals for the winners.

The table was decorated to the "nine's" with USA Olympic pride!

 right down to the food!

 mmmmmmmmm

It really was a riot!  and a GREAT team building event.

Then we had our Creative Challenge.  I asked anyone that wanted to participate to come up with an idea for a man.  It could be anything masculine this month since it was Father's Day month.

 Isn't this adorable?!

How stinken cute!

Thank you for stopping by, I'll be back soon.

Creative Creative Creative…that’s all I can say

Hidy Ho Stampers,

All I can say is WOW.  My stamping group, The Inketts, is just filled with talent.  Every month I hold a get together for my group and any friends they would like to invite.  It is only $5 and we have a BLAST!  Here is just a snip-it of what we did…

At each get together, I have a Creative Challenge for the guys and gals that want to participate.  For March, they had to take a container and decorate it.  THIS is what they came up with…

Rings…aren't they beautiful?

Here is a gorgeous chipboard box made with our papers and embellishments.

Look at all the details.

I love this cute little pin cushion!  See our Stampin' Up! Fabric with matching embellishments!

Look how great this box came out.  I love how she used the Victorian Lace on the sides.

Everyone that participated did a fantastic job and I'm always blown away with the detail on each project.  Everyone at the meeting gets to vote for their favorite.  The votes are tallied and we then have a winner.  The winner gets a $25 gift certificate for Stampin' Up! product. So are you excited to see the winner?

 And the Winner is…..

Look how gorgeous this is.  The detail…didn't I tell you the detail!!!  Thank you to everyone that participated.  It makes it so much fun to vote.

We also do card swaps with a theme.  The participants had to use one of the new dies from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Here are only a few of the cards …

This card uses both the frame and the Rosette Die.  LOVE IT!

Gorgeous and here is the cutest Easter Chic.  She used punches and the new Labels Die.

And this was was a card that opens, she just put the fold on the left.

Isn't this just so yummy!!!

I just love this card.  It's made with the FREE set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog and the FREE Designer Series Paper from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.

Those were just a few of what went on at the Stamping Get Together.

Now for the food…yes we love to eat!  and what a spread we put on.

But I have to say I just LOVED that someone brought BUGELS.  Do you remember BUGLES?  I didn't even know they still made them.   Do you remember Bugels and FRESCA?!!!!  Do they still  make Fresca?  How funny is that?  I need to go and find some and bring it to the next meeting.  Too funny.

And our meeting wouldn't be a meeting without me showing you just how generous everyone is with their donations.  We all bring cards to bring to the Ronald McDonald House and food for the local Food Pantry.  I just LOVE my group!  Thank you everyone.

Well that's it for now.  Thank you for stopping by.  Have a super Monday.

Team Get Together – so much fun!

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Today was my monthly Team Get together.  We had so much fun and laughed beyond belief.  Before I show you pictures of some of the amazing things that were produced, I'm sending along the StampCATION form again so you remember to print it out and send it in asap!  So here it is.

Okay so today was my Annual Academy Awards Day for my team complete with red carpet and Oscars!

Seriously, here is the red carpet and the statues from my meeting.

 Here I am holding Oscar!

Here is MaryBeth – she's been with our group for almost 12 years!

And Dania got several awards.  She's our star!

Each of them had to walk the red carpet to get their awards.

Congratulations to all the New York Inketts!  We are a fantastic group.

If you'd like to join our group, contact me, there is a fantastic deal going on right now but hurry, it's only on for a short time.  CONTACT ME and we'll talk!

Then we had the judging of our Monthly Challenge.  February's Challenge said they had to create something that was elegant or had to have something to do with Valentine's Day.  So here are the spectacular entries…

This was GORGEOUS.  It was made of felt flowers cut from the Big Shot and were folded and pinned to a wreath.  There is a LOT of work in this piece.  It was GORGEOUS and something that this family can keep for a very long time.

Everyone fell in love with this frame.  LOVE IT!

Look how elegant this box is.  I love the new Bird Die from the Mini Catalog.

And look at all the product on this amazing heart.  WOW what a great job.

And this one was unbelievable.  GREAT JOB on everything about this one.

Make sure you look at all the details that were incorporated into this piece.  It is stunning.

Here's a side view.  I had to show you that she used one of our containers as the middle of the box.

This is so adorable.  It's an M & M container that was decorated for Valentine's Day.

and the beautiful flower that was on top of the M & M's

And now the WINNER of the February Challenge is…………

This GORGEOUS gift for a bridal shower.  It is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING.  It was made with My Digital Studio.  Yes, remember that you too can download My Digital Studio for free until February 29th.  So go to my website and click on SHOP NOW, it's free so when you order it, it will come up to $00.  FREEEEE  Go ahead and try it.  Look at what you can make.

And here is Barb who was the Challenge winner.  She is SOOOOOOO talented.  We had food, fun, swaps and ended with our Make and Take session.  WHAT A GREAT DAY…WHAT A GREAT GROUP OF PEOPLE!  I'm so excited to be a part of this group.

Simply Elegant

Hidy Ho Stampers,

I have my big Team Meeting today and made this card for my swap.  The theme was "Simply Elegant" so this is what I came up with.  It's a Wedding Shower Invitation.  What do you think?

It's all embossed with Vanilla Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.

I used the Stamp Set Love & Laughter from the Occasions Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!  Then I embellished it with some pearls of course and a little flower from one of Itty Bitty Punches (it's a set of three).  There is a lot of dimension…I just love the way it came out.

Hope you enjoyed my post, thank you for stopping by.

40 Card Class and Team Training

Hidy Ho Stampers,

What a busy time of the year.  I love what I do and I love being busy.  Today was oooober busy.  I started off with a Team Training in the morning at our local library.  We had so many demonstrators that signed up during this last special, I thought I would open up a team training for anyone that wanted to come.  We had a great turnout with a great range of demonstrators …

 - here we are waiting for the rest to come…

They each received one of these little booklets…

I took cards and put the information inside…

This is everything they need to get started in a nutshell (or a cardshell) and it will be used as a reference tool for them.

I got home from my team training just in time to eat a little lunch and start my 40 card class.  Oh what fun that is…we worked for 2 1/2 hours but finshed 40 cards and envelopes.  These cards were all made from one of our Simply Scrappin Kits(they only used half of the Simply Scrappin Kit, 1/2 package of Whisper White Cardstock, one roll of our Whisper White Satin Ribbon and one package of envelopes. I love doing this class before Thanksgiving so they can take the weekend and address them, send them out and cross that off their "list"!  YIPPEEE we all love to cross things off our list.  Here is the information for the Simply Scrappin Kit.  Go to my website to order… http://stampladee.stampinup.net  and click on SHOP NOW.

Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit 124007 Price: $21.95

Preserve and embellish your holiday photos in a snap with this festive kit. Great for making holiday cards as well! Enjoy easy coordination with other Stampin’ Up! products, such as the Cherry Trim Designer 6" x 6" Album.

Another Great Stamping Get Together

Hidy Ho Stampers,

Today was my monthly stamping get together with my teammates.  It was an exceptionally awesome day….there were great demonstrations, totally awesome swaps and out of this world make and takes.  Here are a few pictures…

Barb Stomieroski did a demonstration on Double Embossing.

Here is what it looks like.  It was amazingly easy.  Thank you Barb.

This was one of our make and takes.  Everyone KNOWS how much I love my punches, how cute is this!

And this card was a card and a bookmark all in one!  The Two tags die (#115954) was used to make the bookmark.

Here is a view of the side.  We attached a magnet on the inside. LOVE IT!

And how adorable is this card.  I just love all them.  This was done with the the stamp set call Button Buddies and Delicate Doilies.

And now here is a picture tutorial of a new way to do the Fork Bow.  First start with about a 12" piece of ribbon and place it so that bottom piece is longer than the top piece (the bottom piece is the one that we will be tieing around the fork).

Take the bottom piece and wrap it over the top piece.

Now put it through the bottom middle tong.

Take that same piece and bring it up through the top (same middle tong).

Now take the top piece and the bottom piece and tie them together in the middle.

You are still looking at the back after it is tied.

Turn it over and it looks like this….so stinken cute.

Then slide it off your fork and this is what it looks like.

This is a little different than the first way I taught you.  It looks exactly the same when done, just done a little different.  If you have any quesitons, let me know.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day.
