Just For Women Event
Hidy Ho Stampers,
It's been a busy week and there is still more to come. I just LOVE it!!! Busy Busy Busy….well tonight was the Just For Women's Event that is put on by Saratoga Hospital. Here are a few pictures.
Here is my table after we got all set up. It was held at the Saratoga City Center. What a beautiful new building.
Close up of my display – Scrapbook and My Digital Studio Display, in the back are some recent cards we've been doing in classes, clubs and workshops.
On the other side, we have the pins that I make with our Big Shot.
I was so excited that my daughter Kate got to help me this year. She helped me prep all day and then we both had a blast meeting people at the event. She's so good with the people.
We eat from the time we get there until we leave. Here are the appetizers -mmmmmm!
And here is our guest speaker – Christine Holton Cashen – she was soooooooo funny! We all loved her.
and then we finished off the evening with door prizes and DESSERTS – DOUBLE MMMMMMMMMM!
The whole evening was absolutely fun. We shared some quality time with JUST WOMEN!
Thank you for stopping by.
The Tree of Life
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Okay are you ready? Are you ready for the winner of our Team Challenge? It was to create a three dimensional project that had something to do with Spring. Drum roll please…..
This picture does not do the tree justice. It was just BEAUTIFUL. The story, the meaning and the feelings that went into this project were heart warming. It meant a lot to her. Her family helped to put it together.
The details were fantastic.
She used punches and dies and the crimper!
This was my favorite part. The detail is there.
And the winner is…..AMY FROLISH. She is the winner of the $25 Stampin' Up! Gift Certificate. Congratulations Amy and thank you for participating!
Thank you for stopping by.
Simply Adorned
Hi Stampers,
It is freeeeeezing here in New York, the wind is whipping and the snow is sideways! Yikes…but inside the fire is going, I've got a cup of hot chocolate and I've been stamping away!!! I love these days!
Have you seen our Simply Adorned line of jewelry? They are beautiful. I've held two classes already and I'm working on class #3. We do different inserts in each class. At my second class, I got out the samples from my first class but I was missing my favorite insert. I looked all over…but did not find him that night…it was my favorite one…the snowman! He was so stinken cute. I know I could make another but it just wasn't the same. I gave up and went to bed and figured I'd make one the next day….
So I got up the next day and got out the box that I keep the inserts in and OH MY GOSH….I found him…he was smoooooshed up against the top of the box…
see how he is smashed up against the top????
See….isn't he so stinken cute??!!!! This is the first class I did. I had them purchase the 1 1/4 Simply Adorned Charm and the 24" necklace then the class was free. They did 12 inserts.
And here are three of the 10 inserts we did at the second class. Aren't they so stinken cute!!!! I love making these…The beveled glass makes them look so gorgeous!
Let me know if you'd like to take this class, everyone loves them. They make great gifts.
Hope you enjoyed my post…see you tomorrow.
Demonstrator Get Together
Hi Stampers,
Today I had my demonstrator get together. There were almost 60 people that attended. What engery, excitement and talent all in one room!
as an ice breaker, everyone's name tag was in a different folder. Each of the stampers had to find their name tag and got to meet someone new in the process.
we start the meeting with business and upcoming events; then we do a card swap then our make and takes.
At our December get together, I gave everyone one of our Simply Adorned Charms. They had to go home and decorate them and bring them back to this meeting. IF they brought it back, we voted on the one we liked the best. Here are some of the charms. The winner is at the end! Make sure you check out all the bling they added. I LOVE THE NEW TRINKETS they used. You can find them in the new Occasions Mini Catalog on page 24. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM.
and the winner is………….
the detail on this charm was unbelievable. It's hard to see it in this picture. This is the front and the back of the charm. It was handcrafted by Sara Badger – VERY talented stamper.
Hope you liked all my pictures. Thank you for stopping by! See you tomorrow.
2011 Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference
Hi stampers,
Well Kevin and I just got back from my Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN. What a hoot that was. We had more fun and laughed more at this event than any other. I learned so much. The classes and events at this conference were outstanding!!! I can't wait to share it with all of you. I will be showcasing a lot of it at my demonstrator meeting on Sunday–training for my downline. I will be sharing a lot of it with my clubs, classes and workshops in the coming months also. Okay here are some pictures….
Here is Kevin and Tom. This is ONE of the lobbies in the Gaylord Opreyland Hotel. When we got there, we met up with some really good friends from Minnesota (Patsy and Tom Waggoner). We toured the hotel…it took hours to do that and I don't think we saw it all. What a beautiful place.
I did three different swap cards. Here is one of them. Look on my Facebook page for the details.
Here is another one (again the details are on my facebook page). I love these two dies for the Big Shot.
and here is my third one.
This was my favorite display. Remember my earlier post about SCHERENSCHNITTE? It truly has made a comeback. Look how they cut out the hat and put in our new Designer Series Paper. BEAUTIFUL and they even added some of our Simply Adorned Charms. It truly was my favorite display, I just couldn't stop staring at it. Look at the background…can you guess what paper that is?
And how cute is this? Look at the new Button Button stamp set and isn't the little Pompom trim just adorable!!!
Okay, I'll post more Leadership pictures tomorrow. I'm glad I'm back and make sure you check out my facebook page! If you'd like to add any of these items to your collection, contact me at stampladee@aol.com and we can put an order in for you!
