Hidy Ho stampers,
I wanted to share with you another way to organize your framelits. I used one of our 8 x 8 albums. The albums themselves are just beautiful but now I'm using them for organization. There are pictures and a video explaining how I got this done.
Here is my shelf of 8 x 8 books and my 12 x 12 photo albums.
Don't they look lovely.
Here is a picture of some of the pages. You can see I used
magnetic strips to hold the framelits on the 8 x 8 cardstock.
I hope you enjoyed my blog today. Thank you for stopping by.
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Yippppe!!! Yahooo!!!! Summer is here! I love how early the sun comes up this time of the year and how it never wants to go to bed (a lot like my kids used to be)! The birds are singing and the sun is shining…nothing could be more heavenly! Along with that, the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog is here.
I've been playing with my new stamps and new tools and I can't wait to share them with all of you. I've been so busy working on upcoming classes for you over the last month! Sooooooo, without any further ado, this is what I've got coming…
Here are some of my July classes. It's my 40 Card Class using the Razzleberry Splash Simply Sent kit. You will make 40 cards with 40 envelopes all in one night. Yes, I said one night – 40 cards with envelopes – boom – done and in your card box just waiting to be addressed and sent out. The class will be held on July 11th – one class at 1:00 p.m. and one class at 6:30 p.m. Contact me if you'd like to attend. I've done this class already in June and they LOVED it!!!! So let me know if this is the class for you – and make sure you take a nap before you come :0).
Here are just two of the 40 cards you will complete! Fast and FUN!
(PS – yes everyone finished and no one had to stay for breakfast)!
Next class is my amazing stamp a stack class. I do a stamp a stack class every month.
You can attend the 10:00 class or the 1:00 class and
I'm now going to offer a 7:00 class because of its popularity.
Choose which one you'd like to attend. The class is on July 12th.
In this class you will stamp 10 cards (2 of each design) with envelopes.
Click here if you'd like to sign up!
This class is called "Get to Know Your New Tools".
We will be using many many of the new tools in the catalog on these cards.
Come and try them out and go home with some lovely cards.
The class is on July 25th at 7:00 p.m. Click here to sign up.
And I just couldn't NOT show you my NEW Scrapbooks. This is a bookshelf in my stamping studio. I LOVE these books. You can find them on page 169 of the new catalog. They are a beautiful linen in classic colors (Crumb Cake and Early Espresso). There's a metal frame on the spine to label your scrapbook – go figure! They come with 10 page protectors (additional page protectors are sold separately). They come in two sizes – 12 x 12 and 8 x 8.
Thank you for stopping by! See you real soon.
Hidy Ho stampers,
I just love Diva Day. I think everyone had a great time but I don't think anyone enjoyed it more than me. It was fun preparing for it and it was a BLAST when the girls arrived. How did they make it to Diva Day? They were the top in recruiting and/or sales on my team. Here are some pictures…
Okay so Kate did not want her picture taken but she was such a big help! I told her if she ever got tired of being lawyer, she could always go back to school to take Culinary Arts. She is such a great baker.
Here she is filling the tarts.
getting the glases prepped for the sherbet…
here are some of the tasty treats…
table all set and ready to go…
what each place looked like before they came…
LOVE this DAY!
So here is the project we did…
With a close up of the tag that was done in My Digital Studio (remember you can get a free download if you act fast…the offer is over on the 7th) Let me know if you have any questions…
I did the tags with My Digital Studio and printed them out on my computer. I incorporated the same Designer Series Paper as we used in the book.
Then they arrived! CHEERS!
and started working…..
Here's Deb helping Deanna…
Val and Marie concentrating….
We've got Linda and Anne working away….
To complete our project!
This a Birthday book. The theme of today's Diva Day was BeauChateau. We have the 6 x 6 Ring Bound Album #122468 which matches the Designer Fabric Beau Chateau #122336 that we used on the spine of the book to decorate. I also decorated the clip at the tip of the spine (see close up picture above) with the fabric. All the Designer Series papers used in the book were from Beau Chateau #122357. Can you see a pattern here? Everything matches. That is one of the most common comments I hear from friends and customers…they love how everything coordinates. The cards we did on the inside of the book all coordinated with the book itself.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the pictures. If YOU would like to join my team, let me know. There is an amazing special going on right now, hurry it ends on 11/11/11.
Hidy Ho Stampers,
It's been a busy week and there is still more to come. I just LOVE it!!! Busy Busy Busy….well tonight was the Just For Women's Event that is put on by Saratoga Hospital. Here are a few pictures.
Here is my table after we got all set up. It was held at the Saratoga City Center. What a beautiful new building.
Close up of my display – Scrapbook and My Digital Studio Display, in the back are some recent cards we've been doing in classes, clubs and workshops.
On the other side, we have the pins that I make with our Big Shot.
I was so excited that my daughter Kate got to help me this year. She helped me prep all day and then we both had a blast meeting people at the event. She's so good with the people.
We eat from the time we get there until we leave. Here are the appetizers -mmmmmm!
And here is our guest speaker – Christine Holton Cashen – she was soooooooo funny! We all loved her.
and then we finished off the evening with door prizes and DESSERTS – DOUBLE MMMMMMMMMM!
The whole evening was absolutely fun. We shared some quality time with JUST WOMEN!
Thank you for stopping by.
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Well it's been a whirlwind two months…besides being our busiest time – Sale-a-Bration - I also had Continuing Education Classes, my CSEA event and Stamp Camp (also I did all my workshops, classes and clubs). Phew, I made it through all of those and I'm now working on my next event – "Just For Women" held here in Saratoga Springs New York on May 11th put on by Saratoga Hospital. I can't wait…it's a night I get to get all dressed up and hang out with women and it's all for a good cause. Fun Fun!!!
Okay so I wanted to share with you one of my projects that I did for Continuing Education. It was for my Altered Scrapbook Class. They LOVED it! It can be used for a lot of different things but my main focus was on those that like to scrapbook! So here they are:
Here is my "his" and "hers" versions.
Okay so here is "his" opened once….then….
when you open it up again (lift the shirt), there are several layers of cardstock that you can fill with gift cards and pictures and sentiments! How fun is this?!!!
And here is my "hers" version…
Open for the first layer…The pearls are so beautiful.
Then lift her shirt (whoops that didn't sound right), open again to reveal the pages and add whatever you'd like!
And here is a closeup of the flower I made.
I LOVE IT!! I hope you did. Thank you for stopping by.
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I just love our Stampin' Up fabrics and the Sew Suite Collection. The ones that are featured in the Occasions Mini catalog will soon be gone. This mini catalog will end on April 30th so hurry, don't miss out. This whole collection of stamps, papers and fabric are found on pages 32 to 38. An addtion to this collection is our 8 x 8 Scrapbooks. They match the whole collection #121802 found on page 36 of the mini catalog. The books in the following pictures are embellished…SO STINKEN CUTE!
The addition is the fabric flower cut from our Big Shot machine, the Sweet Stitch Fabric #121818 on page 38 and the adorable mini pompoms found on page 35 they come in three different colors. These books are not just great for pictures, you can add anything to them. I just made one that I put my CD's in. These CD's are my picture file.
Why not use this one for your little one – each page can be a different letter and let them cut out pictures to put on the page that begin with that letter. Or it can be a quote of the day with each letter…oh the possibilities are endless. And look…the buttons MATCH – Sweet Stitches Buttons #122302 found on page 35.
and here is one for your patterns or embroidery floss or other sewing embellishments – you can be totally organized.
I hope you are using our scrapbooks for more than just scrapbooking. They are PERFECT organizers!
