More with Mosaic Madness…love this set and love the punch and folder that go along with it.

I used the Folder for the background;

stamped the images a couple of times

then punched them out!

(Tip:  If you take four of the images and line them up on block I,

you can save yourself stamping time)

I laid out the punched images and used dimensionals on SOME of them.

So some of the images are popped and some are flat – I love dimension!

I punched some Midnight Muse flowers from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch

and topped with a medium pearl.

I also used one of our NEW Hostess Sets – Sweetly Framed

I love the size and the font of this stamp set – you'll see me using it a lot

and it fits perfectly in this folder – too stinken cute!

If you'd like to get the hostess sets but don't want to host a party,

you can get them with your starter kit – heck you can get all this in your starter kit.

Here are two of the gals at my AMAZING CANCER FREE October Get Together.

Once a month we have a get together of all the demonstrators that can meet and we stamp and eat and learn and just have lots of fun.  But this month is even extra special to me….as a breast cancer survivor, I try to help out.  So we had a donation jar, they didn't have to donate (and they didn't know about it ahead of time) but they dug down in their pockets and we collected over $300!  We gave it to my daughter who had a group that walked the Making Strides Walk, she was part of the Albany Law School team!  WOOO HOOO…it still makes me cry how generous they all are ALL THE TIME!!!  Did I tell you how much I love my group.

I found pink dripping candles and here is the jar decorated by Katie (my daughter).

Then as I've told you in previous posts, at our meetings we also have a CREATIVE CHALLENGE  The October challenge was Thanksgiving/Fall.  They had to make something that had to do with this time of the year and wait until you see what they came up with.

I need to find out who did what and I will post tomorrow.  This is an anonymous challenge where everyone that attends VOTES for their favorite!

Simple is so Sweet – Simply Sweet!

Here is a few pictures of yesterday's cards but it show the "windows" a little better.

See how there are three windows!

I made a template so it's very easy to reproduct this style card.

And here is a note card with the Perfectly Preserved set.  I made up 10 of these, stamped the envelopes and wrapped them with ribbon to give to a good friend that is headed off to school today. She teaches.  What a fast, fun and very useful gift!

OHHHHHHHH I'm so excited, the new 2012-2013 catalog is here!  Email me if you need one sent to you!  In true Deb Valder fashion, I could not just stand at the door and hand out the catalogs.  Soooooo…..Yesterday I had my Sweet Celebration Catalog Kick-Off Party.  Here are a few pics to show you how much fun we had.  There was a STEADY stream of stampers getting their books from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  It was so much fun sitting with the ladies and listening to their ooooo's and ahhhhhhhh's and catching what they said their favorites were.  Sooooo much fun!

Because it had to warm up, the fountain ran from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

I just had to freshen up and replenish the goodies that we were dipping into it throughout the day.

It was handstamped with the NEW 2012-2014 In-Colors!

Diva/Dude Day

Well Saturday was my quarterly Diva/Dude Day.  We had to modify the name as we had TWO male teammates earn the title this time.  It was so much fun and everyone was so excited for both of them.  Diva/Dude Day was a concept that my friend Patsy Waggoner shared with me a few years ago and she shared at leadership this year. She was an amazing presenter!

My top 10 in sales and anyone that recruits for the quarter is invited to a very special stamping day.  I do all the preparation and they come and enjoy and stamp and eat!   Oh how we laughed!  So this is how it played out…

 My daughter Kate got up in the morning and started prepping the food.

 mmmmmmmm we had mini pies filled with cherries and some filled with apples.

 found this on Pinterest – the dip is in the bottom and the veges are all in individual cups (so much easier).

 Here is one of three tables filled with food.

The tables were set and ready for them to come. 

 Everyone had our new Twitterpated Fabric and Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon and Twitterpated Buttons and Maze Game pieces and more.

 They were all sewing and NO ONE was whining about it!  Believe it or not, they were all having FUN!

Sparkling Christmas

I just love this time of the year.  There are lots of great holidays and lots to celebrate. I've told you so many times that Halloween is my favorite holiday to decorate!  I also love to make meatloaf characters…so in true fashion, here is my famous Ghost Meatloaf.

Here they are uncooked.  I had to make two different meatloafs this year because Kate was not going to be home in time for dinner, she was still at school so I made a Large Ghost for Kevin and I then a Baby Ghost for Kate!  Aren't they cute?!

Here they are all cooked up…

And here is Kate's plate…Baby Ghost with Green Mashed potatoes and other goulish embelishments.

Now to change gears, I've been working on Christmas…Here is one of my latest cards.  I used Whisper White cardstock, our new Silver Glimmer paper from the Holiday Mini.  I also used the new Snow Burst Embossing folder and the Snowflake Set #2 die with Rhinestones and silver embossing powder.

More on the Amazing Trip…FOOD!

I think I told you that one of the things that we never lacked for on our Founders Trip was FOOD!  and SWEET food was the best.  Here are some pictures…

Here is the team of gals that put on this event!  They do such a great job each and every time!  We love you girls.  Wait…we are missing Bonnie!

There was a different treat each day…here is day one…

Everyday there was a different schedule for us!

 Oh my gosh…Eclairs are my FAVORITE!!

 Cream Cheese Brownies….oooooo lah lah!!!!

and TARTS!!!!! 

 can you believe this?!!!

Okay that was each day's treat of the day but it didn't stop there.  The hotel fed us a beautiful dinner THEN made this awesome treat.

This is a hard shell of white chocolate then when you cracked inside, there was a ICE CREAM!!!!

I showed you yesterday what the bucket looked like outside, here is what was on the inside…

 We had tickets to go to Little Mermaid!!!

What fun we had! 

We weren't allowed to take pictures during the production so I took them before to show you the stage.  There was REAL water coming down off the mountain and it filled the stage….REALLY! 

 Two of my very good friends…Georgia and Patsy!  Love you gals.

and when we came home there was another gift waiting for us.

 hmmmm what was it?

 Oh my gosh….it is the most adorable apron.  It is made with our new material.  There is also a handmade pin on the pocket!  The flower is cut from one of our dies from the Big Shot.  Remember you can get the Big Shot for free this month by purchasing the starter kit.  Contact me and let me know if you are interested.
