Happy Valentine’s Day
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I love Valentine's Day. It's so much fun…and it's really great if you are a card maker. My day started with Kevin's card. For all holidays, he makes me a card, yep I said he makes me a card for every holiday. I never know when he gets time to do it because I'm always in my stamp room – hmmmmmm…..Here is his Valentine's card for me, it's so cute.
It was sitting on the counter with my favorite coffee (decaf of course)! He used Crumb Cake for the base card. He took the Woodgrain background stamp and stamped the base card with Early Espresso. He added a punched red heart and free handed an Early Espresso arrow.
Now his explanation is the only thing better than the card itself. He told me it was a tree with our heart carved in it…awwwwww – but that was not all of the explanation. He proceeded to tell me that he really wanted to use my new Heart Framelit so it looked like it really was carved into the tree but he was afraid since he didn't know how to use it that he would flatten it out and that would really ruin Valentine's day! :0) Boy was he right! So I'm totally okay with him using the punch instead. Isn't that the cutest card?! I look forward to his hand made cards and he loves not having to drive to the mall to buy one! He also does a great job picking out just the right stamps.
Here's a closeup of the "carved heart"!
Here is our traditional dinner – Heart-shaped Meatloaf!
MMMMMMMMMM
and of course we have to have PINK mashed potatoes!
This year I added a drink that I found on Pinterest…pink lemonade, raspberry sherbet and Lemon-Lime Soda – OH MY GOSH!!!!!
I had to make a little heart for my daughter who was at school until late.
mmmmmmmmmm
And here is a picture that my son sent me. He made heart-shaped eggs for breakfast! aHHHHH the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!!
Like I said, I love this day…it's so much fun. Thanks for stopping by!

Edible Pins…
Hidy Ho stampers and bakers,
Just a little more with food…
In another part of my presentation, I used Sugar Sheets with punches and my Big Shot.
Sugar Sheets come in a lot of different colors.
Here they are ready to be run through the Big Shot.
ahhhhhhhh here they go!!!!
And here they are all cut out!
Ready to paper pierced….
paper piercing them…
Add one of our new Jelly Bean Brads from the Occasions Mini Catalog (part of the Sweet Shop Product Suite) and you now have an EDIBLE pin (DON'T eat the brad)!!!
These sugar sheets can also be used with our punches. Yes I said you can punch them out as I did in my presentation. So for all you that love PUNCH ART for your cards…you can now do it on cakes and cupcakes!!!! How cool is that?! I have a video that I will be posting soon on this technique. :0)
Hope you enjoyed my post.

front view
Back view – see the Tulipe Die, I cut part of it off but it's PERFECT for her wings. So make sure you check out the Clearance Rack, there are lots of good things on there.
Here are a few more of my favorites. I ordered a lot off the clearance rack myself.
1. The old fashioned (the easier one) 3/16 corner rounder #109047 – $4.19
2. Scallop Edge Punch #112091 – $9.59 (see sample below)
3. Spiral Punch #109973 – $4.99
4. Tulipe Big Shot Die #113457 – #113457
Do you remember this card? We HAD to use the old fashioned Scallop Edge Punch because the new model cuts it off…so make sure you get this one (# 112091) if you want to do this style card.
see how it does not cut off the edges! Beautiful! So make sure you check it out.
I had my Demonstrator Team Get Together on Sunday. It was so much fun. I will share more pictures and project ideas with you later on but for now here are just a few…
Great Food
and yes this is our snowflake die
Deanna used it as a stencil for her snowflake cake – it was just beautiful…
Super Great Friends…
and FABTABULOUS projects!
More sharing for another day, for now, I'm off to bed! Thank you for stopping by.

Hidy Ho Stampers,
I know it's hard to think of the white stuff but it's here!! This card was done with punches. The colors are Marina Mist, Whisper White and Basic Black. I love the simplicity of it.
And here is the triangle box turned into Mr. Clause. Punches again. I just love my Punchbook Class.
And for those of you that are looking to do a simple bow…here are the directions to a very pretty bow.
tah dah!!!!
Have a great day. Thank you for stopping by.
Some Fantastic Stamping…
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I thought I'd take a day off from showing you my amazing trip and show you some of the things that have been happening around here that actually have to do with stamping…
This is one of the cards that was on the "share table" at my monthly downline get together. Isn't it the cutest thing? It's all done with punches.
And here is the winner of my creative challenge at my get together.
This is even more gorgeous in person. Congratulations Barb, you did it again.
Here is one of the projects we did in Big Shot Class.
These boots are done with the Holiday Stocking Die.
Here is the rest of the class. We had so much fun.
And here is a gift I received from a very dear friend. She, her husband and her dad are all going through cancer treatments at the same times. Please keep them in your prayers. She is so sweet, she thought I needed one of these mufflers because it's so cold here in New York. I just love it!
and here is a close up of it. I really love it a lot!
Friends are the best. Lori thought I needed a new sign (and I really did) for my front door. So she stamped and laminated it. She is the BESTEST friend! :0) Thank you Lori.
Thank you for stopping by. Hope to see you at Stamp Camp or after you sign up!
Button Buddies
Hidy Ho stampers,
Today I needed to make a few cards to send out. Here is what I came up with.
Stamp Sets: Button Buddies, Four Frames, Friendly Phrases
Ink: Pool Party (LOVE THAT COLOR)
Cardstock: Whisper White, Pool Party, 2011-2013 In Color Designer Series Paper
Accessories: Designer Printed Brads 2011-2013 In Color; Big Shot; Perfect Pennants; Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate; 2 1/2" Circle Punch; Decorative Label Punch; Pool Party 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon
I'm very pleased with the card. I just love the new brads and the ruffled ribbon is adorable. Remember I'm doing a ribbon share, if you'd like to be put on the list, let me know.
I used the new Fancy Fan Letter Press Plate to get that gorgeous background. Go ahead, look back up there, did you miss it? Well if you saw the card in person you wouldn't. I like to spray rubbing alcohol on my cardstock before I run it through, this makes the paper "mold" to the die. It comes out much crisper. Why didn't I use just plain water to wet the paper? Because the alcohol dries faster.
In the afternoon, we decided to go to the Capital District Scottish Games. They were amazing. Listening to these groups gives me goosebumps!
And of course there was lots of food.
Just amazing.
It was a wonderful day!
I hope you enjoyed your day…every minute of it! Thank you for stopping by.
Today was so much fun….
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Well today I celebrated from the minute I got up!!! Started the day with my ZUMBA class (love it) and ended with stamping with a very special dinner in between…what could be better. This afternoon, I had my newest downline come over and we stamped and assembled our Christmas Boxes we got for free from Stampin' Up! It was fun to sit with her and chat, eat and stamp. Here is my photo diary of the stamping part of the day…
This is what the box looked like when it was done. It was so much fun to make but can you believe we are thinking and preparing for Christmas already!!! YIKES!
This is what the box looked like in the beginning…
Here are all our supplies. They were cut and ready for us to start having fun.
Here's Denise working hard on her box!
My bow came out so good…don't you just love this ribbon?
And here is a closeup of my favorite vintage flower!
So many cute things on this piece…
Here is the tag…
And here we are with our boxes!!!! It was so much fun.
Get ready…the holidays are coming up soon, start thinking about what you'd like to do for your holiday cards!!!
Have A GREAT day and enjoy every minute of it!
Happy Happy August 22nd!!
Hidy Ho Stampers….
I just LOVE August 22nd…and this year is August 22nd, 2011 which means today is the day THREE years ago I become cancer free…YIPPPPEEEEE another year under my belt! Phew….So here are a few pictures to share…
For all my friends who are going through this now,
for all of you that have beat this,
and in memory of all that didn't,
I pray for each of you every day…
I love this card.
And here is my screen saver! Ya gotta love it!
And my card pick for the day…it was a card that was on one of the desks at the Stampin' Up! home office. Look at our new punches and are those brads too stinken cute!?!
Gotta run…HAPPY AUGUST 22nd!!!
Another Great Stamping Get Together
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Today was my monthly stamping get together with my teammates. It was an exceptionally awesome day….there were great demonstrations, totally awesome swaps and out of this world make and takes. Here are a few pictures…
Barb Stomieroski did a demonstration on Double Embossing.
Here is what it looks like. It was amazingly easy. Thank you Barb.
This was one of our make and takes. Everyone KNOWS how much I love my punches, how cute is this!
And this card was a card and a bookmark all in one! The Two tags die (#115954) was used to make the bookmark.
Here is a view of the side. We attached a magnet on the inside. LOVE IT!
And how adorable is this card. I just love all them. This was done with the the stamp set call Button Buddies and Delicate Doilies.
And now here is a picture tutorial of a new way to do the Fork Bow. First start with about a 12" piece of ribbon and place it so that bottom piece is longer than the top piece (the bottom piece is the one that we will be tieing around the fork).
Take the bottom piece and wrap it over the top piece.
Now put it through the bottom middle tong.
Take that same piece and bring it up through the top (same middle tong).
Now take the top piece and the bottom piece and tie them together in the middle.
You are still looking at the back after it is tied.
Turn it over and it looks like this….so stinken cute.
Then slide it off your fork and this is what it looks like.
This is a little different than the first way I taught you. It looks exactly the same when done, just done a little different. If you have any quesitons, let me know.
Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day.
