Diva/Dude Day
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Well Saturday was my quarterly Diva/Dude Day. We had to modify the name as we had TWO male teammates earn the title this time. It was so much fun and everyone was so excited for both of them. Diva/Dude Day was a concept that my friend Patsy Waggoner shared with me a few years ago and she shared at leadership this year. She was an amazing presenter!
My top 10 in sales and anyone that recruits for the quarter is invited to a very special stamping day. I do all the preparation and they come and enjoy and stamp and eat! Oh how we laughed! So this is how it played out…
My daughter Kate got up in the morning and started prepping the food.
mmmmmmmm we had mini pies filled with cherries and some filled with apples.
found this on Pinterest – the dip is in the bottom and the veges are all in individual cups (so much easier).
Here is one of three tables filled with food.
The tables were set and ready for them to come.
Everyone had our new Twitterpated Fabric and Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon and Twitterpated Buttons and Maze Game pieces and more.
Here's Dude Chris along with Val and MaryMargaret.
They were all sewing and NO ONE was whining about it! Believe it or not, they were all having FUN!
More sewers.
more fun
more food!
Here is one of the cards I created for them to complete.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Fresh Vintage Stamp Set #125115 Wood Mount or 125117 Clear Mount FREE WITH A $50 order (click here to place an online order)

Calendar pages…
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I worked most of the day cutting for my Calendar Class Saturday and for my pre-ordered kits. I'm so pleased with the my new calendar. Here are a few pics…
I did the calendar in My Digital Studio and printed it off on my computer. It really came out so nice. You can purchase the My Digital Studio for $79.95 from my On-line Store. It's an amazing program, I use it all the time. It's a great gift to ask SANTA for!
I worked with a lot of techniques in this class also. Here is one of them…
November had a new twist on the Babywipe Technique. I used a babywipe and put three colors of reinker on it.
ewwww, it looks yucky. I PICKED IT UP and started to "dab" my cardstock with it. Just dab, do not rub.
Dab, Dab, Dab
Then take your stamp and stamp over the background and cut out your images.
and here is what it looks like.
Here's another technique I used on May. I used our white handmade, crocheted flowers and dyed them with our aqua pen and reinkers. They came out beautiful. They do lighten up a lot after the dry.
Well that's it for tonight. I hope you liked my post. If you'd like to order a calendar kit, email me and I'll get one right out to you. You DO need to own the stamp set because I cannot pre-stamp images for kits. The set that I used is called Every Little Bit #120558 Clear Mount). It's an adorable set that I love to use.

My Digital Studio Special Sale
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Recently a friend of mine came over and we made her son's graduation announcements. Normally when I do this with people, I sit down with paper, ink and stamps but not this time. We fired up our laptops and we made the most beautiful graduation announcements, thank you notes and party invitations. They all coordinated with the same picture theme. We were both so pleased. Here is what they looked like.
This is the front of the inivitation. The idea was to present a card worthy of framing when they received it in the mail.
Thise was the inside cover. Markus as an adorable baby and Markis now. He loves his music. They recently won a competition in North Carolina.
Here is the inside of the card. I'm not sure if you can see it clearly or not but we got a picture of a Tartan (he's a Scottish guy), it's their mascot. We made it a watermark and put it behind the information. It came out great.
Here is the front of his Thank You Cards.
Here is the party invitations. All the information is listed on the inside of the card.
Click on the picture to see the flyer and all the specials going on this month. This just may be the perfect time for you to sign up! Let me know!
Thank you for stopping by.
Holiday Album
Hello Stampers,
On Thursday night we had eleven ladies here complete with their laptops and my new TV screen set up so they could watch me while we created together a complete Digital Scrapbook using the program MY DIGITAL STUDIO from Stampin' Up! It was amazing. We had a few computers that were a little slower than others but everyone was able to put their books together ready to go home, put a few final touches on them and have them printed out. Here are some of the pages we did (this is only half of the book):
This was my book, with my pictures. They completed the layout with their pictures. Each page we did had tips and techniques that we learned from putting in shadows and shading to resizing and a whole lot more.
Here they learned how to change a picture from its normal color to Sepia.
I will be holding consistent classes for My Digital Studio. Contact me at stampladee@aol if you'd like to take the classes. I'm so excited about 2011, I have so many new and exciting events coming up.
Hope you enjoyed my post.
Vacation is over…
Hi there,
Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday, I took a little time off to hold my Holiday Downline Get Together, finish up my clubs and do a few classes, then concentrated on getting Christmas stuff done. My whole family was here for the holiday! YEAH!!! Josh made it in before the storm in Minneapolis and out of New York before the blizzard. If you recall, last year he never made it for Christmas because he got snowed into Rapid City and couldn't get home until New Years Eve. But he made it this year! We had so much fun, I never stopped laughing.
Here are a few pictures of my amazing downline meeting, we had 60 people attend. The swaps and gift exchange projects were unbelievable.
Overview
Getting ready for the gift exchange.
Here we are doing our demonstrator swap. This month's theme was "anything BUT a card". They have to make 24 of them and they will get back 23, the 24th one goes to the Ronald McDonald House.
Swapping…
Isn't this the cutest little thing. I think this was my favorite swap! I love snowmen!!
I just love my downline meetings. We always collect and donate cards with envelopes to the Ronald McDonald House so they can use them. I also ask my downline to contribute the the local food pantry. Look at what we collected this month -
and this was only part of it…what a great feeling knowing we helped in a small way! Didn't I tell you I have the BEST downline!!
I also just had my "2011 Year In Review Scrapbook Class". All I can say is WOW!!! It came out fantastic. Everyone was so excited when they finished. They did 13 two-page spreads (that's 26 pages) in 3 hours. We were smokin'!!!! So that was amazing.
This is a sample of the book! Yep, they finished 26 pages in 3 hours. WOW!
On Thursday, I'm holding my very first ever "My Digital Studio" class. The gals will be bringing their laptops and we will complete an entire book ready to print. While creating the book together, they will be learning how to use the program. I'm excited and nervous. I've never done this before. I hope we don't blow a fuse with all the laptops plugged in. I'll let you know on Friday how it went.
I also have a "Calendar Kit" for sale. I did this as a class earlier in the month. Several of the girls wanted to make more so I told them I would offer it as a kit. It's a calendar that you put together. The kit has everything you need except the ink pads and stamps. I used the the most adorable stamp set found on page 65 of the big catalog called "Every Little Bit" (#117096 wood mount or #120558 clear mount) for each page except June and December. If you'd like to add the stamp sets to the order, email me to let me know.
I'm so glad to be back…I hope you enjoyed my post! See you tomorrow.

My Digital Studio
Oh my gosh,
Remember I told you last week was my 32nd anniversary? This is what Kevin built for me. I was so taken with this gift. He put his heart and sole into it. Oh my gosh….so here it is….
While I was at convention, he made this book for me. He loaded a copy of the program "My Digital Studio" on his computer, found all the pictures, scanned them and made me this beautiful book of our lives together. He hit the nail on the head with this one (he's a contractor)…every picture has such meaning starting with this one! That was us 33 years ago!
He started with my college picture, we met at college and then were married. We lived in a 14 room farm house on a 99 acre farm when we were first married until we built our first house in Penn Yan New York.
We moved to Ballston Spa in 1991 and bought 22 acres of land and built the house we live in now. We have three beautiful kids. His captions were adorable…on the boys page he wrote "Our New Family" then on Katie's page, he wrote "And the Princess Makes Three".
Then he put in all the colleges our kids attended…Hartwick, LeMoyne and South Dakota School of Mines. We are so proud…by this page, I was a total wreck.
He even incorporated my stamping business…it's been a part of our life for almost 11 years. The Cruise Achiever picture is really a magnet that is on my filing cabinet. It was originally on the door of our cabin on one of our cruises. He put my business card in there and my favorite picture of Shelly and I. The #3 picture is one of the pictures he took OFF THE WALL to scan. It's the picture of the very FIRST time I ever got to go to Founders Circle and there is he and I at the Needle in Seattle Washington the night before we went on the Alaskan Cruise with Stampin Up!
And this is how he ended it…There were many more pages and many more memories he added. But I can't show you any more…I'm balling again!
Thank you Sue Hyer for helping him get it published! He was so excited to give it to me. It will be something I will cherish FOREVER!!!! Thank you Kev!
