More Simply Scored Diagonal Fun
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I saw this cute little clutch purse somewhere on the internet and decided to try my own version (I used only one Framelit instead of two – mine is the mini version, more my size). It uses our new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.
Isn't this sooooooo stinken cute
Here is the outside…LOOK AT ALL THE BLING! This picture does not do it justice!
And can you see the score lines?
I did that with my new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.
And when you open it up – WAH LAH – a staple for any clutch – CHOCOLATE!!!!
Wouldn't this be so cute for a wedding or bridal shower!
or a cute gift card holder – ohhhhhhh the possibilities!
Clutch Kit:
Cardstock: Basic Black; Silver Glimmer Paper #124005
Fun Stuff to accent your clutch: Labels Framelit Collection #125598; Simply Scored Tool #122334; Simply Scored Diagonal Plate #125586; 1 3/4" circle punch, 5 petal punch; 3/4" circle punch; 1/2" circle punch and LOTS AND LOTS of Rhinestones 119246; Mini Glue dots
Okay so if you want everything to do this project just email me and say "I WANT IT ALL!" So stinken cute. I think the original one was bigger and it used two framelit pieces – mine is the mini version.
Thank you for stopping by!
All on the diagonal!
Hidy Ho Stampers,
So today is the day you can start to purchase our new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate #125586 from me. It complements the Simply Scored Tool. Watch the video to see what you can do and I've got a sample I put together today while the snow if falling.
Here is what the cardstock looks like when you score it, the lines are indented.
So when you turn it over, I guess this side would be outdented :0). I really love but both patterns and each will serve it's purpose depending on your project or card.
Here is the card I created this morning.
And here is a side view. The pearls and a fork bow are a must - wah lah…
and to show you what we woke up to today….it was 6:00 in the morning and our annual mailbox demolition took place…
The mailbox is to the left, the car is in the ditch to the right, the tow truck was on it's way and everyone was okay. It's STILL snowing. Can't complain, this is the first real snowstorm we've gotten since October. So it's pretty and fun (well not for that guy). I think Kevin took him out for coffee (no we didn't know him).
So here is today's post, I hope you like it. I want to thank you for stopping by.
Sweet Cake
Hidy Ho Stampers,
It's been very busy here in my stamp room. I've had my team meeting last week, prepping for all my Continuing Education Classes, a couple of workshops, my March Stamp Clubs and Scrapbooking Clubs as well as my quarterly Stamp Camp with my downline which will be held next week. Lots of prep but it's so much fun coming up with the projects. I've met a lot of new stampers these last two weeks. Their brand new enthusiasm is infectious and I love it. I've been having a ball. Here is a card that we did at my workshop.
Supplies used:
Stamp Set: Sweet Cake (#125490 wood mount) or (#125492 clear mount).
Pretty Papers Used: Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight Cardstock, Pool Party Textured Cardstock
Fun Accessories: Dazzling Details Glitter (I love this because the applicator has such a narrow tip for precise application); #122941 Mini Brads; Dimensionals and markers (Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Real Red, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight); Old Olive Stamp Pad.
Here are two more cards using the same stamp set along with the coordinating Designer Series Paper. That paper is a specialty paper found in the Occasions Mini Catalog on page 33. Aren't they adorable.
And in case you haven't noticed, they are setting on our NEW Diagonal Plate #125586 for $11.95. This is available starting TODAY, March 1st. You can use this to create diagonal score lines for envelopes, boxes and more! This sits on top of the Simply Scored base. It's held in place by the rubber pads on the back of the plate. I thas etched grooves every 1/8" and can score any size cardstock up to 12 x 12. It also includes instructions for creating common envelopes sizes. So make sure you have the Simply Scored Tool and add to that with the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate.
Simply Elegant
Hidy Ho Stampers,
I have my big Team Meeting today and made this card for my swap. The theme was "Simply Elegant" so this is what I came up with. It's a Wedding Shower Invitation. What do you think?
It's all embossed with Vanilla Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder.
I used the Stamp Set Love & Laughter from the Occasions Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up! Then I embellished it with some pearls of course and a little flower from one of Itty Bitty Punches (it's a set of three). There is a lot of dimension…I just love the way it came out.
Hope you enjoyed my post, thank you for stopping by.

Diva/Dude Day
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Well Saturday was my quarterly Diva/Dude Day. We had to modify the name as we had TWO male teammates earn the title this time. It was so much fun and everyone was so excited for both of them. Diva/Dude Day was a concept that my friend Patsy Waggoner shared with me a few years ago and she shared at leadership this year. She was an amazing presenter!
My top 10 in sales and anyone that recruits for the quarter is invited to a very special stamping day. I do all the preparation and they come and enjoy and stamp and eat! Oh how we laughed! So this is how it played out…
My daughter Kate got up in the morning and started prepping the food.
mmmmmmmm we had mini pies filled with cherries and some filled with apples.
found this on Pinterest – the dip is in the bottom and the veges are all in individual cups (so much easier).
Here is one of three tables filled with food.
The tables were set and ready for them to come.
Everyone had our new Twitterpated Fabric and Twitterpated Designer Series Paper and Blushing Bride Pleated Ribbon and Twitterpated Buttons and Maze Game pieces and more.
Here's Dude Chris along with Val and MaryMargaret.
They were all sewing and NO ONE was whining about it! Believe it or not, they were all having FUN!
More sewers.
more fun
more food!
Here is one of the cards I created for them to complete.
Supplies used:
Stamps: Fresh Vintage Stamp Set #125115 Wood Mount or 125117 Clear Mount FREE WITH A $50 order (click here to place an online order)
CS: Basic Gret Cardstock; Twitterpated Designer Series Paper, Blushing Bride Cardstock; Whisper White Cardstock, Vellum Paper
Ink: Basic Grey
Accessories: Labels Framelits (from the Occasions Mini Catalog); Twitterpated Buttons; Basic Grey Satin Ribbon for the Fork Bow; Basic Pearls, Dimensionals
Here is a side view.
Hope you enjoyed what I shared. Have a great day. oh oh oh…I almost forgot…
YEAH NEW YORK GIANTS!!!!
Okay so what was YOUR favorite Super Bowl commercial? Mine was the M & M commercial when the one M & M took off his shell does that mean he was naked?! :0) He was so cute.
Edible Pins…
Hidy Ho stampers and bakers,
Just a little more with food…
In another part of my presentation, I used Sugar Sheets with punches and my Big Shot.
Sugar Sheets come in a lot of different colors.
Here they are ready to be run through the Big Shot.
ahhhhhhhh here they go!!!!
And here they are all cut out!
Ready to paper pierced….
paper piercing them…
Add one of our new Jelly Bean Brads from the Occasions Mini Catalog (part of the Sweet Shop Product Suite) and you now have an EDIBLE pin (DON'T eat the brad)!!!
These sugar sheets can also be used with our punches. Yes I said you can punch them out as I did in my presentation. So for all you that love PUNCH ART for your cards…you can now do it on cakes and cupcakes!!!! How cool is that?! I have a video that I will be posting soon on this technique. :0)
Hope you enjoyed my post.
