Day 2 in Nashville

Hi stampers,

I fell asleep before I could post last night…whoops…sorry about that.  I have so much to show you, no time to sleep!

Here are a few cards that I just fell in love with.  They first is a swap card I received and the second one is a swap card my friend received.  Both are awesome cards.

The detail on this card is INCREDIBLE.  The card was done by a fantastic stamper, Lorrie Reid.  The stamp set she used is called Sew Suite (# 121933 wood mount; 122009 clear mount) found on page 33 of the New Occasions Mini Catalog.  Just look at the detail on this card.  Starting on the left, her drawers and the items IN the drawer.  If you notice the legs on the bottom of the dresser are just a punch (Curly Label Punch).  I don't know if you can see it or not but there is thread on the machine and material on the foot of the machine.  It's unbelievable.

Here's another card done with that same set.  I don't know who did this card but it is BEAUTIFUL!!!  She also used the new material from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

On our second day in Nashville, we did some sight seeing during the day.  One of our stops was called The Factory.  It was filled with local art.  I was tired so I decided to sit down for a while.  My feet NEVER reach the floor.

Hmmmm, I guess I'm not the only one that couldn't reach the floor.

Then we had to get back to the hotel and get ready for Manager's Reception.  The location is always kept a secret until we get there…so where were we going???

Holy Cow!!!  We were at the Wild Horse Saloon!  Shelli rented out the ENTIRE saloon for our Stampin' Up! Manager's Reception — ALL THREE FLOORS!

Can you tell which one is me?  I'm line dancing!!!!

I made a lot of new friends!

and had lots of fun with old friends (Margaret and Georgia)

and then there was this crew!

and here is one of my very good Canadian friends!!!  HI JOAN!

These guys think they are sooooo tough!  This was the first time any of the guys came with us to Manager's Reception, I think they had as much fun if not more than we did!!!  It was a blast.  So many husbands came!

Coming from Saratoga New York (horse country), this mural was stunning!  I just loved it.  It was up on the THIRD floor!

and here is Kevin and I posing with our new friend!!!  It was an amazing time and it was an amazing place.  THANK YOU STAMPIN' UP! for such a fantastic evening.

See ya tomorrow.

Elvis was in the house!!!

Hi ladies,

As we were downtown, we got to see Elvis…he was EVERYWHERE!!!  This is STILL day one!

Whew…that was fun!!!!

The next day we got up and met more friends.  Jan Burnett gave all of us gifts.  She loves to knit.  When she gave me my gift, I was so excited.

She made me a neck warmer but it's in the shape of the Pink Ribbon of Hope for Breast Cancer and….it has our buttons on it.  Oh my gosh.  How thoughtful!!!!  She knitted Kevin a scarf also.  How thoughtful.

Going along with the button theme…I just had to show this adorable bracelet made with our buttons.  It was so cute and very easy to make.

Don't you just LOVE this!!! It's a paper wreath.  It is filled with items from the new Occasions Mini catalog including the new window panes, our paper and ribbon.  Special!!!

Hope you liked my post…I'll see you tomorrow.

2011 Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference

Hi stampers,

Well Kevin and I just got back from my Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN.  What a hoot that was.  We had more fun and laughed more at this event than any other.  I learned so much.  The classes and events at this conference were outstanding!!!  I can't wait to share it with all of you.  I will be showcasing a lot of it at my demonstrator meeting on Sunday–training for my downline.  I will be sharing a lot of it with my clubs, classes and workshops in the coming months also.  Okay here are some pictures….

Here is Kevin and Tom.  This is ONE of the lobbies in the Gaylord Opreyland Hotel.  When we got there, we met up with some really good friends from Minnesota (Patsy and Tom Waggoner).  We toured the hotel…it took hours to do that and I don't think we saw it all.  What a beautiful place.

I did three different swap cards.  Here is one of them.  Look on my Facebook page for the details.

Here is another one (again the details are on my facebook page).  I love these two dies for the Big Shot.

and here is my third one.

This was my favorite display.  Remember my earlier post about SCHERENSCHNITTE?  It truly has made a comeback.  Look how they cut out the hat and put in our new Designer Series Paper.  BEAUTIFUL and they even added some of our Simply Adorned Charms.  It truly was my favorite display, I just couldn't stop staring at it.  Look at the background…can you guess what paper that is?

And how cute is this?  Look at the new Button Button stamp set and isn't the little Pompom trim just adorable!!!

Okay, I'll post more Leadership pictures tomorrow.  I'm glad I'm back and make sure you check out my facebook page!  If you'd like to add any of these items to your collection, contact me at stampladee@aol.com and we can put an order in for you!
