Okay down to work or should I say fun!!! I hope your weekend was a SUPER one and that you didn't forget to SPRING ahead with your clocks…it's always funny (in a good way really) to see the people coming INTO church when we are all leaving on this day (oops they forgot to set their clocks ahead). The looks on their faces is priceless! :0) Have you ever done that? I have!!!!!
On Saturday we had the best time with family and friends at Kayla's 1st birthday party!! Emily (her mom) is one of the most talented people I know with such great attention to detail. Everything was just perfect from the food to decorations, she did it up so cute!!
I made a card for her that was a take-off on the one Penny Smile did with the Whale.
Isn't this the cutest stamp set! Oh, Whale! #129129 (wood mount) or #129132 (clear mount)
I also used the matching Designer Series Paper #126922 Sunshine & Sprinkles
On the inside I used the stamp set called Memorable Moments #126680 (wood mount) or #126682 (clear mount)
and I did another mini fork bow.
Check out my YouTube video on how to make this very special Mini Fork Bow
I had so much fun making this for her!
But wait until you see what her mom did!
Here is Kayla's birthday invitation.
and here is Kayla's cake (yes that is real and we DID eat it)
mmmmmmmmmm
and for favors, we were treated to these very special pops that big brother and mom made.
and here is one happy princess!!!

Everything but the kitchen sink!
Hidy Ho Stampers,
More pictures to share. Here's a card I did last month at one of my classes. It is using a stamp set that will be in the new catalog. It's called Bright Blossoms. It's such a stinken cute stamp set. So here you go….
I used Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White card stock. I ran the Whisper White CS through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (#117335). I also used matching Elegant Eggplant 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon (#124143). For the circles, I used the 1 3/8" Circle Punch (#119860) and the 1 1/4" Circle Punch (#119861). The images are from Bright Blossoms (#125495 wood mount or 125497 clear mount). They are stamped with Elegant Eggplant classic ink (our new pads oooooooooo ahhhhhhh) and Old Olive classic ink. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246).
I did adhere the circles with Dimensionals.
This is a very fast and very easy card.
Okay more pictures from the happiest place on earth…
so do they look like the Paparazzi?
We headed for our favorite Soda Shoppe -
it's called "Beaches and Cream", isn't it cute, very 50's, very retro.
This is the start of an ice cream that they call "The Kitchen Sink".
It has an ENTIRE can of whip cream on it along with EIGHT scoops of ice cream! OMGosh!!!
Then he was jamming FULL size candy bars in there. OMGosh!!!!!
And here was his master piece.
No, we did not order it but these gals let me take their picture
because they DID order it and ate it! Look closely, the container has
a faucet and two handles just like a real kitchen sink…too cute.
This one was big enough, this was called "No Way Jose!"
mmmmmmmm
Don't forget to get everything you want from the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up Idea Book and catalog, it's going to be done at the end of this month! HURRY!!!!!
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Wine Glass Cozies
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Oh my goodness, this is such a fun time of the Stampin' Up! year. We have the retired stamps and accessories lists out; we have the new catalog coming in, last minute classes to say so long to some of our favorite sets and making new cards and projects with all the new stuff! OH SO EXCITING! Remember to check out the Discontinued Lists and the Clearance Rack. Make sure you hurry and get what you want now, the items are going fast (I'm not kidding)!
One of the gifts I made to bring to my Advisory Board friends while we were on our incentive trip to Disney were Wine Glass Cozies. They were so easy and so cute. I just love them. So here is how you make them…
You start with our wonderful Stampin' Up material found in our catalogs. Then I used the Clear Circle #114533 Die – HURRY THIS IS A RETIRING DIE! Make sure you go to my website and purchase it NOW!
After you cut them out (three per cozie), you will lay one circle down with the right side of the material facing you. Then you will take two more circles and fold them in half with the RIGHT sides out. Lay those two "half" circles onto the full circle, pin and sew all the way around.
I made lots of these.
Next turn them right side out and I used my Bone Folder #102300 to make the circles perfect.
Slip them onto your wine glasses (you have made different colors so that each person can identify their glass).
wah lah….aren't they the cutest little things ever. They absorb the sweat from your glass and identify YOUR glass. They are so easy to make!
Next I wanted to share more pictures of our amazing trip to Disney. Our last event of the trip is always the most anticipated event! ALWAYS, no matter what trip it is…the last day or night is always above and way beyond what you could ever think up. The Stampin' Up Events Team is totally out of this world!!!! So we all lined up to board our buses….
We were all loaded and ready to head out, where were we going….
Oh my gosh…we were at Hollywood Studios at the Indiana Jones Show. See the Stampin' Up sign on the stage.
The show was an exclusive show for JUST Stampin' Up! Incentive earners! All those people are US!
And if you've ever seen the show, you KNOW they pick people from the audience. Yes, those are demonstrators!
And that guy…that is our own Scott Nielson, CFO of Stampin' Up! and a great sport! We all love him.
So the suspense began…
More stunts by Stampin' Up demonstrators.
here is my good friend Linda Heller with Indian Jones. She was one that was chosen to be on stage!
woah…as they were performing their tasks, the wall started to open…
and they had tables and chairs….I've seen this show and KNEW that was not part of it…
then the food started rolling out…
even Scott had to take a double take…what was going on…
the stage hands were just ignoring what was going on and the show rolled on…
but they didn't finish the stunt show….instead they invited us to
COME ON DOWN AND WE GOT TO EAT ON THE INDIANA JONES STAGE…..OH MY GOSH!!!!!
It was beautiful!
Here is my friend Matt Heller stealing some goodies!
We had to join him of course!
I went up in the stands and took a picture of the entire event. It was unreal!
Another view….it was awesome.
And the FOOD!!!! mmmmmmmmmm
How cool…the decorations were incredible.
we had a DJ
and some friends to take pictures with!
Oh and how could I forget, there were Belly Dancers and a Belly Show! :0)
More friends!
Oooops, Had to give my new friend a smooch!
Tah Dah!!!! What an amazing time! What a job I have, did your job ever do that for you?! Remember if you'd like to try it out, the kit is only $99 and you get to pick whatever you want. Head on over to my website and click on JOIN THE FUN! You will love it! Go ahead and try it. You get to pick ANYTHING!
Hope you enjoyed my post. See you tomorrow.
Hi Ho Hi Ho it’s Off to Stamp I go…..
Hidy Ho Stampers,
Did ya miss me? Well I have to tell you that I had the most wonderful – MAGICAL time in Disney for 10 days. Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of Stampin' Up! invited those of us who earned the trip to come to Disney for a VERY magical time and she did NOT disappoint us! It was amazing. It was a free trip for both my husband and myself. Do you want to go next year, just ask me how you too can join us! Read on…
Before I left freeeeeezing New York and headed for wonderfully warm Florida (ahhhhhhh) I made swaps for the Stampin' Up! card swap. I just had to incorporate the little lady (Minnie). My card was made with supplies from our April Special. I used the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper, Basic Black 1/2" scalloped ribbon (I turned it over so the dots did not show), Scallop Cirle Bigz Die # 113468, 21/2" circle Punch 3/4" circle, 1/2" circle punch, Heart to Heart punch, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 3/8" basic black taffeta ribbon.
So after the short airplane ride, we arrived at our destination
Disney's Boardwalk Hotel!
Isn't it beautiful – well stay tuned…
We were greeted by a wonderful lady that lead us into the hotel lobby – OH MY GOSH! I think I died and went to heaven (remember this trip was completely FREE!) Can ya stand it?!!!
And look what was waiting for us when we got to the room – BON BONS!!!! :0) Really, can you stand it?!!!!
And here is a view from the back of the hotel overlooking the lake!!!!
Here is the Boardwalk that comes ALIVE at night!
And across the lake…
Here is one of the Villas! Isn't this so stinken cute!
When taking the boat to or from Epocot or MGM, here is the gateway that brings us home.
SPECTACULAR!!!!
So stay tuned, this week I will have samples and more breathtaking pictures for you! Thank You Shelli from the bottom of our hearts! It was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I can't wait for the Fiji trip next year!!!
And don't forget to get keep checking the DISCONTUNUED LISTS and the CLEARANCE RACK. Things are going fast. Log onto my website to check out what is left.
Thank you for stopping by!
